 | HT HomogenizerHigh throughput homogenization in microwell plates for DNA, RNA, and protein isolation The HT Homogenizer is the smallest, most powerful linear motion homogenizer available. This unit is designed specifically for laboratories that require high throughput homogenization of samples in 96 well, microplate format while limiting well-to-well variation. This homogenizer is proven for disrupting samples for DNA, RNA, and protein isolation procedures. Powered with a strong 1/4 horsepower motor, the HT Homogenizer has been successfully used to homogenize tough samples such as corn, rice, soybean, and Arabidopsis callus. It is also effective at homogenizing softer tissues from animals and leaf punches. When used with silica and zirconium grinding media, the HT Homogenizer is also effective in disrupting microorganisms. High throughput homogenization is valuable for any labs processing multiple samples for RNA extraction, DNA isolation, or protein analysis. Samples homogenized can be handled with workstations for subsequent processing and purification. Standard, half, and deep well plates, as well as vial sets, are locked into the homogenizers carriage assembly with a lid with adjustable latches. This allows for easy placement and removal of plates. Most samples can be homogenized in 2 minutes or less, making preparation and loading of the plate the bottleneck in sample preparation and not the homogenizer. The HT Homogenizer is CE and CSA certified. This product comes with a 2 year limited warranty. Speed Range : 50-1600 rpm Controls : Analog with a 10 min. timer Send Enquiry |
 | Rotor Stator HomogenizerWe offer a complete line of hand held and bench rotor-stator homogenizers. These motor driven homogenizers are significantly different in design from pestle-type homogenizers and mechanical bead beaters or mixer mill homogenizers. Rotor-stators are essentially a rotating shaft (rotor) inside a stationary tube (stator). The tip of the shaft is machined to have slots or windows while the rotor is designed to serve as a blade. The rotor is rotated at speeds ranging from 5000 to 35,000 rpm. Smaller hand held units can be used to process small samples in microfuge tubes while bench top models can emulsify up to 40 liters. | Multitube VortexerThe Multitube Vortexer is designed for mechanical and chemical cell lysis, mixing suspensions, and general sample agitation. This vortex mixer gives a distinctly different motion than shaking a sample. With vortexing, greater shearing forces are placed on materials in the bottom of a tube, thus promoting either disruption or solubility. The multi-tube vortex mixer is a tool to provide that extra degree of mixing, however it accommodates full racks of tubes or microwell plates as opposed to singe tubes. Consequently, this unit is useful for higher throughput mixing of samples. The multitube vortexer can be used for resuspending bacterial pellets, mixing reagents for alkaline lysis plasmid preps, mixing of components for bead-based assays, mixing of aqueous and organic solutions for extractions, mixing of solid phase supports and reactants, and any other process which requires a vortexing step. This mixer is sturdy yet quiet in operation. The multi-tube vortexer is available as analog and digital modules in both 120 and 230V configurations. Send Enquiry |
 | Pulsing Vortex MixerPowerful pulsing vortex action produces excellent cell disruption for glass bead procedures. The Pulsing Vortex Mixer is capable of complete cell disruption of samples in only minutes. Unique pulsing action reduces heat generation while providing more effective mixing and disruption. System includes an easy-to-load holder for (12)1.5ml or 2.0ml micro centrifuge tubes. Micro-tube holder has a built-in cup head which allows mixer to be used as a standard vortex mixer in touch mode. Micro-processor feedback control maintains set speed for strong, consistent mixing action. LED displays for both speed (rpm) and time (minutes/seconds) which provides better repeatability and accuracy. Displayed time counts up during continuous operation and counts down during timed runs. | Stability Chambers & accessories1. Microplate Stability Chamber Designed for six microplates so to reduce the edge effect caused by low humidity and uneven heating. The Microplate Stability Chamber is placed inside standard or CO2 incubators. The chamber minimizes temperature variation and increases humidity, both of which are needed to reduce the edge effect.
2. Aluminum Microplate Plate Tray
Constructed of 3/4" (1.9 cm) aluminum and protected with a black anodized coating, this tray has been milled to accommodate six standard depth microwell plates. A raised bed provides direct contact with the bottom of microwell plates so to evenly distribute heat to all wells of a plate. This tray, independent of the stability chamber, helps to reduce variation in microplate assays caused by uneven heat distribution within incubators. Send Enquiry |
